Wang Yuechuan Calligraphy Exhibition

Wang Yuechuan was born in Anqiu, Sichuan Province. He graduated from the department of Chinese language and literature of Sichuan University in 1982 and graduated from the department of Chinese language and literature of Peking University in 1988. Since 1993, he has been a professor and tutor of Ph.D. students of the department of Chinese language and literature of Peking University, a State Council Expert for Special Allowance, the director of Literature and Art Theories Study Office at the department of Chinese language and literature of Peking University, the director of the calligraphy institute of Peking University, the director of Chinese Calligraphers Association, the deputy director of the Affiliated Board of Education, the vice president of Beijing Character Writing Art Court, the vice president of China International Calligraphy Artists Association, a member of China Writers Association, the vice president of Association of Sino-Foreign Literary & Arts Theories, the president of The Academy Of Chinese Studies in Hong Kong, a guest professor of Kanazawa University, a guest professor of the  School of Humanities of University of Macau, a double hired professor in ten universities including Fudan University, and the founder of “cultural calligraphy” theory.
