The opening exhibition of Liu Haisu Art Museum, "Rewriting Liu Haisu" is expected to illustrate the important life experience of the Haisu and demonstrate his great contribution as a painter, educator, social activist, and collector.

" Rewriting Liu Haisu" aims at rewriting, re-examining, re-reading, and re-constructing the life as well as the contribution of Haisu to the art world.  On the basis of previous exhibitions, researches, and new academic context, the "rewriting" focuses on rewriting the cultural imagination of him through micro-description in an authentic context as well as introducing him under the background of the history of both social life and new culture.
